Unlike regular mobile processors, the desktop version also supports AVX-512, an instruction set that enables significant acceleration of computing processes in application areas such as AI and deep learning, encryption and data compression, 3D modelling and multimedia workload processing.

Special NVIDIA GeForce graphics cards in MXM plug-in card format give the SCHENKER DTR 17 a further speed advantage over conventional laptops. The maximum configuration level comes up trumps with an RTX 3080 including an impressive 16 GB GDDR6 memory, groundbreaking ray tracing capabilities and improved tensor computing units. This top of the range model runs in the DTR 17 with an increased TDP of up to 165 watts, while classic laptop GPUs are limited to a maximum value of 150 watts.
