In addition to the fastest laptop graphics cards up to NVIDIA’s top-of-the-line GeForce RTX 4090, this robust powerhouse, made primarily of high-quality aluminium, integrates Intel’s Core i9-13900HX, one of the first mobile processors with 24 cores and 32 threads, as well as a high-capacity 99 Wh battery. Based on the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 with a whopping 16 GB VRAM and the RTX 4080 with 12 GB VRAM, the SCHENKER KEY 17 Pro not only offers the two fastest laptop GPUs with the maximum memory expansion, but is also able to run them continuously and performance-focused at the limits of the maximum power limits permitted by NVIDIA. In addition to dedicated RT cores for ray tracing calculations, the GPUs are also characterised by dedicated tensor cores of the latest generation, which can, for example, take over highly specialised AI computing processes.
Perfect for Virtual Reality
The KEY 17 Pro is the most powerful mobile VR workstation from SCHENKER. The high-performance RTX 40 graphics cards accelerate the calculation of complex content, while the generously graphics memory holds high-resolution textures for the representation of immersive environments – regardless of whether this involves training courses, the conception of three-dimensional product designs that look as if they are real or highly specialised AEC applications in virtual reality.
CAD, 3D modelling and rendering
The choice of the latest high-end components also makes the SCHENKER KEY 17 Pro a top performer for all other professional, demanding software environments. Both are directly connected to the high-performance NVIDIA graphics card and thus not only function as connections for additional external monitors but are also compatible with all current VR headsets. In addition, Thunderbolt 4 serves as a high-speed interface for the fastest external SSDs as well as for multifunctional docking stations: In this way, the complete periphery at the workplace, from input devices to external monitors and the network to the printer, can be connected to the laptop via just one cable.

In line with the uncompromisingly implemented high-end concept, the SCHENKER KEY 17 Pro allows maximum expansion with up to three M.2 SSDs – more than enough to always have even the most extensive data libraries at hand. The primary slot already supports the future-oriented PCI Express 5.0 standard – for even faster read and write operations. In addition, the high-performance workstation has two sockets for up to 64 GB of plugged-in DDR5 RAM and can be upgraded later if required.

The high-performance processors from Intel’s 13th Core generation enable 24 cores and 32 threads in mobile power workstations for the first time. As a high-end CPU, the Core i9-13900HX in the SCHENKER KEY 17 Pro has a boost clock of up to 5.4 GHz and a generous 36 MB cache. The cooling system, which is equipped with extensive capacity, allows the processor to run continuously in the maximum performance range – in this way, the laptop works quickly, efficiently and without annoying waiting times even in highly parallelised applications.

Especially for colour-accurate work in the context of professional image and video projects, the high-resolution WQHD panel (2,560 x 1,440 pixels) delivers a razor-sharp display and covers both the sRGB and the extended DCI-P3 colour space to 99 percent. IPS technology guarantees powerful colours and high contrasts, while the combination of a 240 Hz fast refresh rate with G-SYNC support allows for exceptionally smooth playback.
Digital-visual design processes demand the highest level of professional display quality. The KEY 17 Pro’s high-resolution 4K display (3,840 x 2,160 pixels) excels in terms of precision and colour fidelity – with 99 % coverage of both the sRGB and the extended DCI-P3 colour space and a high brightness of 400 nits. As is typical for IPS, it also features extraordinary colour brilliance and first-class contrasts. G-SYNC support and fast 144 Hz technology enable particularly smooth playback.

Automatic display switching
Thanks to Advanced Optimus, the laptop automatically switches the display connection between the dedicated NVIDIA graphics chip and the highly efficient, integrated GPU of the processor during operation. Depending on the application, the SCHENKER KEY 17 Pro thus either calls up the maximum performance or works with optimum efficiency and consequently achieves a longer battery life. As an alternative to Advanced Optimus, it is possible to switch the display connection manually via a MUX switch.

Its generous connectivity makes the SCHENKER KEY 17 Pro the ideal choice both at a stationary workplace and on the move. In addition to two USB-A and two Thunderbolt 4 ports with integrated DisplayPort stream, there is an HDMI 2.1 and a Mini DisplayPort 1.4a, each with dGPU connection. The laptop allows you to drive up to three external monitors and the internal display simultaneously. Fast 2.5 Gigabit LAN, stable Wi-Fi 6E and separate audio connections for headphones and microphone (with S/PDIF support) as well as a Windows Hello-compatible Full HD webcam with noise reduction complete the abundant equipment.

Whether for frequent typists, shortcut users or in spreadsheets – with its separate number pad, full-size arrow keys and dedicated function and navigation keys, the keyboard of the SCHENKER KEY 17 Pro offers maximum functional diversity. Thanks to the clearly defined pressure point, the keyboard delivers a high level of input comfort and is always easily useable even in dark environments: A multi-level adjustable per-key LED backlight allows free colour selection. A practical Fn lock allows the F keys to be permanently switched to the secondary function.
